Where Have Everyday Womtras Gone?

For a long time, Everyday Womtras™ lived quietly alongside my abstract paintings.

They started as doodles, the kind you make without thinking, in the margins of notebooks, on scraps of paper, anywhere a pen happened to land. (If you know ADHD, you know.) Over time, those doodles became characters. Then came the words, my everyday thoughts. Then the realisation that these little figures were saying things my paintings couldn’t, at least not in the same way.

My abstract work is about movement, emotion, and atmosphere. It’s layered, intuitive, and open to interpretation. Everyday Womtras™ are more direct. They’re cheeky, irreverent, a bit subversive, and they articulate what a lot of us like-minded, world-weary wonderers are thinking, but don’t always feel appropriate to say out loud.

As Womtras grew, into mugs, totes, prints, bottles, cards, stickers... something became clear: they need their own space to breathe.

Trying to house both my abstract art practice and Everyday Womtras™ under one website started to feel like forcing two very different conversations into the same sentence. They’re connected, yes, from the same mind, the same lived experiences, but they speak to people in different ways.

So I gave Everyday Womtras a home of their own.

A place where the characters can take centre stage. Where their voice is unapologetic, playful, and proudly itself. Where retailers, stockists, manufacturers, and collaborators can clearly see what the brand is about and where it’s going.

This new site isn’t about separating art from art, it’s about clarity, growth, and intention.

Everyday Womtras has evolved from personal doodles into a fully fledged brand with real traction, real customers, and real potential. Giving it its own space felt like the next natural step, one rooted in confidence, not caution.

So check out the new home of Everyday Womtras. cheeky, honest, unhinged, and ready for the next adventure.
