Faithless
£50.00
These are my favourite colours. When discussing the painting, I was given an interpretation that it feels like a state of insomnia. Like being on the edge of sleep and not quite reaching it. As a geriatric millennial, I had to name it Faithless after hearing that.
This is a mesmerising abstract that explores the balance between serenity and fear.
A dynamic fusion of deep blues, vibrant greens, and urgent streaks of white evoke the mystery of the ocean or an ethereal dreamscape. In the top right, a shadowy figure emerges, shrouded in ambiguity, adding depth and intrigue. Layers of paint, rich textures, and organic splashes create an immersive experience, drawing the viewer into a world where beauty and unease coexist.
The 14 40s Collection features original abstract paintings and fine art prints created on square 40 x 40 cm canvases, offering a versatile and highly sought-after size for modern interiors. Each artwork is created in my Oxfordshire studio using my intuitive, process-driven approach, combining layered paint, expressive mark-making, and rich surface texture.
Original 40 x 40 paintings are particularly popular with collectors seeking authentic contemporary art that fits easily into a variety of spaces. This square format works beautifully as a standalone statement piece or grouped as part of a gallery wall. The balanced proportions suit living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and home offices, making these artworks ideal for both new and experienced art collectors.
This collection includes both original paintings and fine art prints, allowing collectors to choose between owning a unique original artwork or a gallery-quality print of some of my most compelling pieces.

Original Art & Fine Art Prints Handmade in Oxfordshire
I use a variety of materials in my process. From brushes and pallet knives to cardboard scraps and sticks. My work is largely acrylic paint, whichever brand I can get on offer, and my preffered mediums are either Windsor and Newton or Liquitex.
Once signed and varnished, I photograph my paintings in natural light and crop to standard print sizes, adjusting levels to ensure as accurate a match to the original as possible. Once exported I print on my inkjet Epson P-900 SureColour. Tis a sexy beast.
I print onto a variety of papers, including high gloss and watercolour. My larger prints use satin 260gsm and my extra large prints (A1 & A0) are handled by a top notch local third party printing service I've been working with for years.
