Artist's Description
Devised in response to the disappearing bee crisis, this piece is called The Hive. Painted in Spring, the end of the wet weather, the sun is starting to shine. Bees, nature's tireless workers, buzz from flower to flower, their tiny wings beating furiously. They are busy pollinating & making honey, ensuring the cycle of life continues. This piece kick started the bee series of 2024.
